Episode 1

Martin agrees to do a job for HVA when his son Max's future is put at risk. His task is to stop liberal reforms from being passed but he goes rogue.

Episode 2

International agencies are eager to recruit Martin, but they all offer the same options: get arrested, get hired or get killed. Meanwhile, Rose pays Lenora a visit.

Episode 3

Martin must face his past when suspected terrorists push him to his limits. Lenora confronts Fuchs and heads to Frankfurt with Grigore, a Romanian agent.

Episode 4

In Frankfurt, Martin finds himself in the middle of preparations for a terrorist attack and realises that Max and Nicole are in danger. Fuchs and Dietrich prepare to leave East Germany.

Episode 5

Martin and Nicole head after Lenora who is seeking refuge with Grigore in Romania, the last Communist stronghold. Meanwhile, Fritz's enterprise takes a surprising turn.

Episode 6

Desperate to prevent German reunification, Lenora seeks Fuchs' help in Italy, home of the HVA in exile. Meanwhile, Martin begins to suspect Nicole's true intentions.

Episode 7

Everyone converges in Leipzig where Martin is trying to stop Lenora's assassination plot and Valdez and Brigitte are working with Rose towards the same end.

Episode 8

Martin is taken hostage and must fight for his life, while Nicole has to ensure Max's safety in Frankfurt. Tina and Ingrid uncover Tischbier's secret.
